hEX is a five port gigabit ethernet router for locations where wireless connectivity is not required. The device has a USB 2.0 port. This new updated revision of the hEX brings several improvements in performance.
It is affordable, small and easy to use, but at the same time comes with a very powerful dual core 880MHz CPU and 256MB RAM, capable of all the advanced configurations that RouterOS supports. IPsec Hardware encryption and dude server package is supported, microSD slot on it also provides improved r/w speed for database storage on microSD card.

Thanks for the fast (2 day) delivery. Single WAN configuration worked out of the box (password is the serial number, not blank as instructed in the manual.) Built-in ATik firewall rules seem good. Successfully set up IPv6 by following online guides. You may want to increase default DHCP lease time from 00:10:00 to 1d 00:00:00

Not plug and play for me (SingTel ISP) but managed to get help from seller to change some settings through downloaded Winbox app on PC. Works well now.

Very affordable router with very good protection. Just plug and play without the need to configure anything. Speedtest shows 940+ Mbps which is considered good as it is near my 1 Gbps fibre plan.
